Tenured Sales Executive with Global Experience

In my decade and a half of business-to-business sales I’ve always enjoyed a new challenge. Each new adventure has awarded a robust education in a wide variety of technologies across multiple continents. These days, my focus is on global enterprise accounts within the vertical of Media, Entertainment, GameTech, and Sports (or MEGS for short). My client base in this vertical over the years has spanned the top global MEGS accounts. They include (but are not limited to) Riot Games, the LA Dodgers, Sinclair Broadcast Group, Electronic Arts, Netflix, Disney, Warner Music Group, the LA Rams (or SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles), Warner Brothers Discovery, and Sony Pictures.

 

Over the Years - Professional Experience

TrackIt, Global Leader, Strategy & Business Development for Media, Entertainment, Games, & Sports (aka MEGS)

2023 - Present

As Sales Director at TrackIt, I lead our efforts in empowering the Media, Entertainment, Games, and Sports (MEGS) vertical through innovative cloud solutions. Partnered with AWS, we specialize in delivering cloud-native software development and comprehensive consulting services. My role is pivotal in guiding our clients through the complexities of digital transformation, ensuring they leverage the full potential of cloud technologies to achieve their creative and business goals.

2nd Watch, Head of Sales, Media & Entertainment

2021 - 2023

Helping Media & Entertainment enterprises harness the power of the cloud. Launching transformation with workflows from end to end ranging from content production to content distribution. Develop end to end content lakes, produced in the cloud, delivered from the cloud. Unify traditional broadcast workflows, OTT and digital streaming applications by modernizing your Media Supply Chain. Embrace intelligence by truly knowing your customers and make Data Driven Decisions based on analytics to monetize on your content. Increased collaboration is achievable leveraging scale and efficiencies offered by CSPs.

Crown Castle Fiber, Global Account Executive, National Media & Ent. Accounts

2018 - 2021

Responsible for growing the rapidly scaling national fiber network of Crown Castle across the Southern California region and across the US. With aggressive targets of 100% new logos/new business, my focus is on selling dark fiber, internet services, cloud transport, collocation, private wavelength, switched Ethernet, and more. I work closely with a number of large Global 1000 organizations, with a focus on the Entertainment & Media Vertical.

Spectrum Enterprise, Global Account Executive, National Media & Ent. Accounts

2015 - 2018

Spectrum Enterprise is a multi-billion-dollar business operated the largest fiber-rich network in the greater LA area. Spectrum’s product portfolio includes high-bandwidth fiber-optic network solutions, cloud services, collocation, re-selling of SaaS product suites (i.e. Microsoft Azure, Office 365, SaaS managed services, and more). Once again, my focus in this role was on Enterprise-sized organizations with a focus on the Entertainment & Media Vertical.

Intrado (Formerly West IP), Sales Manager - Australia & Global Strategic Accounts

2009 - 2015

Overseeing a team across Australia and Asia-Pacific, my team’s focus was to grow the business of Global Strategic Accounts, including HSBC, General Electric, General Motors, BHP Billiton, ExxonMobil, Amcor, etc. My local Australia account team oversaw the growth of domestic Australian enterprise accounts including Commonwealth Bank of Australia, NAB (National Australia Bank), Amcor, and many more. My team’s focus was solely on the Global Fortune 1,000’s.

The Minnesota DAily, Sales Manager

2007 - 2009

The Minnesota Daily is an independent, student-produced newspaper on the Twin Cities campus of the University of Minnesota. The paper is published Monday thru Thursday during the fall and spring, and on Wednesdays during the summer. During my time at The Minnesota Daily, I served as Advertising Sales Manager, eventually overseeing more than 20 Account Executives. Our team was responsible for the sales of both print and online/digital advertising.
